Collodian Process

This here power photographic picture was made using the collodian method. Now what exactly is the collodian method? That's what I'm here to tell you:

The collodian process is done by coating the plate in a collodian mixture, putting it in silver nitrate, and then exposing the plate. This process was relatively inexpensive to others in the height of its popularity (1850s). The process leads to a brushed on look to the photograph.
